Payment Options
ACSKG annual certification fees are $40 for assistant guides and $100 for full guides.
Please apply and renew early; the ACSKG's administration goes "dormant" from June 1st to September 30th. A $50 surcharge is required to process a recertification during the dormant period. There is no surcharge for new ACSKG guides, though there may be processing delays from June through September.
There are three payment options:
- Interac e-Transfer
- Mail a cheque
- PayPal
Interac e-Transfer is the preferred method. Using PayPal requires the ACSKG to pay a processing fee; please use the PayPal option only if you are not able to use Interac e-Transfer. (PayPal works well for international payments.)
Mailing a cheque could delay your certificate by ten weeks or more; online payments are much faster. If you prefer to pay by cheque, please make it payable to Association of Canadian Sea Kayak Guides and send it to this address.
Prices are in Canadian dollars.
Interac e-Transfer
Interac e-Transfers are a convenient way to send money instantly from the security of your Canadian online banking service. Interac uses email to notify the e-Transfer recipient, while the financial institutions transfer the funds using established and secure banking procedures.
To send an Interac e-Transfer, all you need is an email address, online access to your bank account at a participating financial institution and the email address of the person you are sending money to.

How it works
To send an Interac e-Transfer to the ACSKG, login to your online banking, select Interac e-Transfer from the Transfer/Payment menu, then address the transfer to: payments@acskg.ca
You may be asked to create a security question & answer for the transaction. If so, please send the answer to us in a separate email.
The ACSKG will email you a confirmation when the transaction is processed. You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions.
